Unfinished Miracle
Ali Kaeini
Delgosha is pleased to announce the second solo exhibition by Ali Kaeini “Unfinished Miracle.” Ali Kaeini is investigating his own language by limiting himself to Persian Miniatures as the main source. With his saturated colors and surfaces covered by brush strokes, he goes about making his own rules of image-making. He never fully omits the figurative elements and this is what distinguishes him from the modern painters working on miniatures before him. Kaeini doesn’t limit himself to the narrations of the paintings. His forms are devoid of content and in this process he moves away from functioning narrative elements to ornaments. His multi perspectives and the forms that do not obey the logic of the image make the viewer question the logic of the image. He also uses close up of these miniature to narrate his own way and reach a point of abstraction an abstraction that can never be obsolete as it uses familiar ornaments. Kaeini has studied painting in art university of Tehran and he has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions. This is his second solo exhibition in Delgosha gallery.
